The venue showcases the best in local, national and international bands, as well as having a street level social bar. Most recently, Crowbar has introduced a multi-purpose gallery and functions space, dubbed Church.

 

The Brightside

The Brightside is a unique and diverse Fortitude Valley live music venue that offers a live music space, an open-air beer garden, on-site food and a car park space for major events. The venue is known to host smaller, independent and upcoming local and national acts. The Zoo

711 Ann St – located in Winn Lane

The Zoo is one of Brisbane’s longest standing live music venues, catering to independent artists, as opposed to commercial acts. It is one of the most historic Fortitude Valley music venues, independently owned, operated and booked by females for over 25 years. Renowned as being a cult venue, they have hosted bands from The Pixies to Violent Soho, Silverchair to Real Estate.

 

The Tivoli

52 Costin St

The Tivoli is a stunning Art Deco venue – widely regarded as one the most beautiful Fortitude Valley music venues. The venue has the capacity to host 300 persons standing, with a custom-built stage, sound system and lighting rig. It is a complement to the plethora of Fortitude Valley music venues, hosting Australian musical icons such as Powderfinger and Missy Higgins, along with major international artists such as Bob Dylan and Katy Perry.

 

Woolly Mammoth
